There are additional serious health issues that are prevalent in the breed that new owners need to be cognizant of when obtaining an Irish Wolfhound. • Pneumonia

• Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia — PCD often referred to as Wolfhound Rhinitis

• Canine Epilepsy

• Hypothyroidism

• Megaesophagus

• Progressive Retinal Atrophy--PRA

• Von Willebrand's disease

• Wobbler's Syndrome

• Leaky Gut Syndrome, or intestinal permeability and other linked Immune Mediated or Autoimmune Diseases
